the 1972-73 Australian Reigon cyclone season was a above average season that was more active than the previous season it officially began on November 1 and ended on May 1 these dates determine cyclone activity however storms that form in between June 30 and July 1 will count twords the season totals. The seasons notable systems were Garcia which caused moderate flooding, however it was quickly over shadow by Cyclones Harvey and Garfield which caused massive damage in Queensland and the Western Australia, respectively.
