The 1986 Atlantic hurricane season (SDTWFC What Might Have Been) features what the SDTWFC thought storms would do upon formation. The season was well below average, with only 9 depressions forming, 8 of which went on to be named storms. Of those 8 storms, only 3 became hurricanes, and Flossy was the only major hurricane of the season. The SDTWFC did not expect Charley to form, and thus the storm does not have a WMHB counterpart. The season was also one of the least damaging and least deadly seasons ever recorded, with only 13 deaths recorded and $55 million (2018 USD) being done in damage.
