Summary

NASA and people around the world were celebrating Comet Halley's return into orbit. Unfortunately, America and Russia were in Cold War II with even bigger nuclear weapons. Halley was flying about 1,000 miles above Earth when a nuclear missile hit the meteor. It was knocked off track and came speeding towards Earth. It was 2x the size of the dinosaur extinction meteor. Since almost every mile of Earth had at least 1 resident, 11/13 of the worlds population was wiped out.
