The SuperDestructiveTwister Weather Forecast Center (SDTWFC) is a weather forecast center located in Vista, California and issues weather alerts for various types of weather, mainly hurricanes and tornadoes. However, in Hypothetical Events, the only weather phenomenon covered are rain storms that occur in Southern California.
Rainstorm Scale
The SDWTFC rates rainstorms that strike Southern California using a scale that gives intensities base off of the highest rainfall total within San Diego County. However, the mountainous regions such as Palomar and Laguna Mountains are excluded from this count due to their geography exaggerating rainfall totals. Aditionally, local outliers are excluded, as the measurement may have been errored, so the highest rainfall will be counted only if at least 1 other nearby station recorded a similar measurement.
